CheerCore @ Cheer Evolution Nationals:

We had a blast at this year's Cheer Evolution National Championships! CheerCore Green (LG Senior Level 2) went UNDEFEATED this season and took home a banner, a trophy, and matching NATIONAL CHAMPION team shirts & bags. CheerCore Gold (Senior Co-Ed 4.2) really created a buzz at the competition when they ran a flawless routine on day 2... They took home 2nd place in their division, and were also awarded "MOST ENTERTAINING PERFORMANCE", which was selected out of the 300+ teams that performed that weekend. 

This was our third year as a gym, and we are so grateful to have such talented athletes and supportive families. Thank you to everyone who helped to make this season so successful! See you at tryouts! 

CheerCore @ Cheer Evolution Provincials:
On the weekend of March 3rd&4th/2012, CheerCore Collingwood had another successful showing at the Cheer Evolution Provincial Cheerleading Championships. Both of the gym's competitve teams (GREEN - large senior level 2, and GOLD - senior co-ed level 4.2) took first place in their respective divisions and came home with Provincial titles. Additionally, the gym's competitive-rec team performed in the junior non-compete division and had two great performances!

CheerCore Green and CheerCore Gold will both be attending two more competitions this season; the Great Lakes Championship in April, and the Cheer Evolution National Cheerleading Championships in May. From now until then, our teams will be training hard in the hopes of bringing home some National titles to add to our collection!

CheerCore @ Cheer for the Cure:
On December 10th/2011, both of our competitive teams competed at Cheer Evolution's Cheer for the Cure competition in Oshawa, Ontario. This was our first competition of the season, and we are thrilled to announce that CheerCore Green AND CheerCore Gold both took 1st place in their respective divisions! We're off to a fabulous start, and all of our athletes are anxious to continue to work hard to maintain their place at the top.

TRYOUT RESULTS (2011-2012):

Wow! We saw a lot of people at this year's tryout sessions, and we are very excited to work with our brand new teams. It's hard to believe that we're already going into our third season! With new teams, new uniforms, and a brand new gym facility... You know what they say; the third time's the charm! :)

SENIOR Level 5 Stunt Group: NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!
Small Junior Level 2: NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!
Small Senior Level 2: SECOND PLACE!
Senior CoEd Level 4.2: FOURTH PLACE!

What a wonderful weekend we had! We're so proud of all of our athletes, and couldn't be happier with the results from our very first trip to Nationals.  All of our teams pulled together and had nearly flawless runs on day 2, and we received a lot of compliments on our strong debut at one of the biggest cheer competitions in Canada!

Now that this season is over, CheerCore is moving into its third season and we will be doing so in a brand new facility! Our tryout sessions will still be held at the National Ski Academy (address below), but our new teams will begin their practices on Monday, May 30th at:
